Dead Work Awards
Branding for the 2016 event The Dead Work Awards

the dead work awards
Your clients thought they killed it. But for one night... it lives.
The Dead Work Awards celebrates the ideas you poured your soul into, only to have your killer idea mercilessly killed. This award show provides the chance for designers and creatives to resurrect those ideas. With a theme of New Orleans Voodoo, this past years event was open to all creative professionals in the Philadelphia region who gathered where the resurrection took place: Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Below is the logo option I designed which was chosen for this event, hosted by the ADCP. The hand written words "Dead Work Awards" construct the skull and incorporate hidden elements of New Orleans voodoo: snakes, death, and of course, a fluer de lis. Along with a new logo design, I designed a landing page, social banners and emails promoting the event.
